MIDNITE HOUR Productions has completed the two city We Day 2009 event with a show at GM Place in Vancouver on 29 September 2009 and at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on 5 October 2009. Logistics for the event included a 53' tractor trailer filled with equipment that went to Vancouver and back in record time.
The set was made up of a large 18'x48' rear projection screen, flown centre stage, as well as 4 15"20" Rear projection screens of stage. Three sets of dual co-converged and blended Barco CLM R10+ projectors created a seamless visual image at intensities comparable to the stage lightng.
Below the large rear projection screen, a montage or 22 Plasma screens created a backdrop to various speakers and performers. Flanking, and starting behind the centre stage plasma montage, 93 Martin
LC Panels augment and filled the stage area to the width limits of the
ACC Centre.
Seen here, author and community worker Robin Wiszowaty shares her life-story with the audience of 16,000 school children, against a backdrop of images of the Seringeti plains in her adopted home counrty of Kenya.
