Having been an avid admirer of the entertainment industry as far back as his teens, Jason began his professional journey towards MIDNITE HOUR Productions by exhibiting his fine-tuned sense of initiative; he procured apprentice positions at various music stores; he also assisted with the constructing of recording studios. Jason furthered his love of music by studying jazz guitar, which continues to be a personal passion of his. He then focused on the technical side of the industry, graduating from the Trebas Institute of Recording Arts (Toronto), where he received his diploma in Recorded Music Production.

In the summer of 2005, Jason joined the unique team at MIDNITE HOUR Productions as an Audio/Tech Operator, later progressing to the position of Manager of the Audio Department, working with a wide variety of musical talent including Matt Dusk, Bedouin Sound Clash, Michael Burgess, Suzie McNeil, and Ronnie Hawkins.
